The difference between the end of last week and the beginning of this one is so ironic it makes me laugh a bit.
Only three short days ago, I was swimming in the gulf off the coast of Gressier, Haiti, after spending the week with over a hundred of the most precious children. Now, as I sit in my apartment in Athens, Georgia, the window panes are frosted and every single car in the parking lot is sighing heavily underneath a blanket of about seven inches of fluffy white snow.
The beautiful contrasts I continue to find in this life we are living often take my breath away.
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
