best friends

Okay so maybe I’m getting a little a sappy and sentimental in my old age, but as I am graduating, I have been trying to do my best to appreciate the people in my life that have made my college experience what it has been. One of those people is my friend Laura Elizabeth Scott. I got to go take her graduation pictures in her last couple weeks in athens. It was bittersweet.

Laura and I have been friends since our sixth grade literacy class. We bonded over the fact that we were both nerds…and still are. She was my roommate freshman year and our fifth roommate in Apt. 316. She has been through the 8am classes with me and the nights when we didn’t go to sleep until 8am. She has been on my crazy outdoor adventures, taken me sailing, and gotten lost on many a country drive with me. We have laughed and cried together, but even more so laughed until we cried. She has taught me so much about God and loving his word.

Athens just won’t be the same without her next year.
