mexico: day two

I am by no means a pharmacist. But today, we all had to be one.

With all the medicine that we packed in our suitcases, today was spent counting. And counting some more. And then counting some more after that. Count, bag, label, count, bag, label. Eventually we just got into a rhythm with the process, but we all powered through it knowing that all the work we put in today organizing and preparing will help the clinics run smoothly in the week ahead.

Then, right before dinner, we were a little stir crazy and ventured out into the streets of Cancun to a nearby park where we made some new friends and I personally remembered why basketball was never my sport.

By far the highlight of today, our time at the park was a reminder…we are here for people.

To show love to people.
